Crux Motorsports 2015 – 2021 WRX & STi Rear Bumper Protector

Description

Adds a clear layer of protection on top of your bumper from chips and scratches from loading and unloading your car!

NOTE:

Fitment:

• 2015 – 2021 WRX & STi

Application:

• Clean the surface.  If surface feels rough to the touch use a claw bar to remove dirt trapped in the paint.  If you are not comfortable using a clay bar take your car to your local body shop and have them clay bar the top of the bumper then about an inch down the rear of the bumper.  Once surface is clean wipe down one more time before applying with a microfiber and water.  Using a spray bottle full of water with one drop of dish soap or baby shampoo spray down the top surface of the bumper as well as an inch down the back side of the bumper.  Peal the bumper protector off the backing paper and spray down the adhesive side.  Place and align on the bumper there should be about 1/8 of an inch gap between the edge of the protector and the beginning of the trunk side of the bumper.  Using a squegee covered in a micro fiber squegee the top side of the bumper getting all of the water out.  Now you are left with the over hang starting in the center of the car and working out left then right squegee the rest of the water out rolling the protector over the edge of the bumper.  Allow to site for 2 days before using a pressure washer on the car.

Below Shows installation of our side skirt protection but, you can apply the rear bumper protection in the same fashion.
